I just don't have nearly the precise control with a DS3 so it kind of amazes me how some are able to do really well on some of the harder races when using a controller. I don't know, some things seem a little easier with the DS3 but I still seem to do much better using a steering wheel and pedals. I guess I'll look into building a play-seat like some others here have done or getting one of those stands for the steering wheel so I can easily move things in and out of the living-room.
I have a wheelstand pro and its good stuff. Sturdy and it folds away for when you are not using it... The only slight issue I have is I wish the Shifter stand came a little closer to you than being right next to the wheel, but its no reason to not buy it... I would love a good race seat but thats a permanent setup and I cant have that...

Thanks for the info. That is the main one I've been looking at and was thinking of going ahead and ordering it but I became concerned about some of the user reviews. Does the bar being in the middle bother you?

I was worried about that when I first got it also. But no, it actually doesnt bother you one bit. I was playing yesterday and joked to myself saying "I remember when I thought this would be a problem". Unless you drive a car with your legs literally rubbing against one another, you wont have a problem. When I bought the stand, I remember there being 2 versions, one was a little more sturdy (also a bit more $$$) but I opted for it. I havent regretted it ever. The stand is pretty sturdy. Of course it can move if you are really really hammering on it (meaning way more than a normal person would) but like I mentioned, it was a non issue for me and a much better option than a full race setup. I also bought some plastic zip cords and wired up my stuff nicely so they all run up and down the main part of the stand and then underneath. The G27 wheel and pedals I have mount to it so they never need to be taken off and wires tucked under the pedals and out of the way... Very happy with it all... And I never want to play another race game without it, seriously...

Update 1.06 is out. The Data Logger/GPS Visualizer is the big part that also happens to be of no use to most users. We finally get 3DTV support and a couple of other additions as well. You can view them all as well as any undocumented changes in this thread:

Wish I knew. Every once in a while I will fire it up, just to see if there are new Vision Cars. Nope. You would think for as many as they had planned we would have seen weekly updates with a new car.

Well, we can't possibly know what's going on behind the scenes, but it's pretty apparent they're having some difficulty finishing all of the promised content like the track creator, community features, endurance races, and B-spec. I would imagine they're not going to move on to creating paid DLC until they get that content out.

So, they are planning on releasing B-spec for GT6? At first, I didn't even understand why they had that in GT5 but I have found I kind of missed it in GT6. So, I'm hoping they are planning to add it. A track creator would be really cool also and hopefully it'll be something really easy, kind of like what ModNation Racers had. In general though, I'd rather have them spending their time on a PS4 port of this and maybe bump up the graphics a bit to take advantage of the PS4 hardware.
