Mill Creek has some that Sony's not announced yet

And YES!! The remake of April Fool's Day is amazing in every way. I love that freakin movie so hard. I mean, the original is great, but the remake is just so non-cliched and wacky. And I give it a plus for being filmed in Charlotte. Its got southern charm mixed with posh character, a real message, and political subtext. Its a personal favorite and we need that shit ASAP.

Seriously, we should ask for these on their facebook page!

I get these 2 mixed up all the time, so this is a serious question, but is it AFD remake or Prom Night that has the "hat of invisibility" stuff in it?

I mean that a main character with very distinct face puts on a baseball cap, and no one can recognize him anymore.

Looking to me like everything Mill Creek does is junk. Seemingly everything is on single layer 25 gb discs, an immediate sign that a company isn't interested in quality at all.

That's not the immediate sign. It's the lossy sound and zero extras. It's possible to get good quality on a BD25.

It is possible, but a hell of a lot more so on a BD50. That they're always opting for single layered discs tells me they don't care.

It's probably less about "caring" and more about the bottom line. DL's still cost more. And their discs sell for nothing.

They're a budget company. I don't expect anything amazing from Mill Creek. I do like some of the titles they're offering. They're releasing a bunch of TV seasons at budget prices. Plus, they're the ONLY company to give us a release of The Legend of Billie Jean! That alone is worthy of praise, IMO.

Krull only lists 1080p and DTS-HD MA English 5.1 with no subtitles mentioned on the back.

I agree.Just bought Hudson Hawk/Hollywood Homicide. Deep Rising/Puppet Masters and Last Action Hero for 13 bucks, yes not amazing video but good enough to go from DVD to Blu ray.

Joe-Six-Pack likes his dvd, so dvd will live and thrive on, keeping me and many more of us online ordering things the stores won't bother to carry.

If the right info would get out there, Joe-Sixer would notice that BD players not only play dvds, but make them look better by upscaling. Then the BD hardware could take off, and Joe could start buying BD's for new stuff. We all know the prices aren't the issue no more, half the time the BD costs a little less than the dvd in most stores and almost all sales.
Two years ago I could careless about blu ray but people finally got me to start converting to it and now I see stores blu ray sections getting smaller and smaller and I find it sad. Dont even see Best Buy doing the $5.00 upgrade anymore.

It's on a BD-25 and drops the colorized versions found on Sony's box set.
