Pre-ordered right? Doesn't the US release not even have a proper release date to begin with? Surely you could just cancel your order and demand a refund.

Being outside of the US, that means he ordered through Diabolik who have a strict no cancellations policy, which I think they bolded at the top of the item description. Don't know if that's valid under consumer laws but being the US, I wouldn't know.

I'm still keeping my order for the Synapse one after learning the Aus and UK releases will be from the German transfer, and I'm interested in the Synapse one and can't wait for a standard release, but at $96 AUD shipped that was a ridiculous purchase.

Nah I ordered direct through Synapse. I could cancel, but I might just trade when I get them.

I didn't think Synapse shipped internationally? I thought it was US only

Umbrella just posted on FB that the 40th anniversary release of Suspiria has been delayed until the end of November. No reason given.

Need to listen the the UK commentary tracks and see if that one is worth keeping for those.
I believe that most / all of the special features from the Umbrella 25th anniversary DVD are being included.

Anyone watched their copy of the Umbrella 40th Anniversary of Suspiria?

Is it worth driving 30 plus minutes out of my way to a JB that purports to have a copy? (Completely different direction to my workplace )

And is the new 4K scan worth the $30 price tag?
Give me Blu-Ray or give me death.

Streaming sucks!

Just finished watching my copy, I would say it's worth it (the drive & price). It's a definite improvement over the previous UMBRELLA release of the film.

Cheers. I bought Suspiria 40th Anni. Tuesday arvo. Last/only copy in store (disappeared from site after I bought it).
This is a blind buy. Will go into watching the film with above average expectations and see what happens.

Only seen two movies for me recently that have lived up to expectations (i.e. Went in expecting something brilliant); Deadpool and Get Out.

My cinephilic lifestyle has taught me to try to not to go into films with pre-conceived notions.

I like Suspiria, but I do think its abit overrated. I certainly prefer other Argento movies over it.
