Remember this is the perfect oppurtunity to update their Database listings. If you have confirmed specs, you can either Edit their listings yourself, or you can leave the info when you post a title and I can add in the correct info.

Example:

Viral Factor: 1080i/50, Chinese DTS-HD MA 5.1, Sub Eng, 2.33:1

I happen to have this disc so was able to scan it and get the info. Just please be sure to submit correct info.

I always double-check.. luckily my players have a nice detailed menu display which includes audio bitrates, codecs and frame-rates.

The following 1080i movies can be added to LordCrumb's first post in this thread:
Betty Blue
Volver
Death Defying Acts
2:22
Cedar Boys
The Piano
Hard Candy
City Of Ember
Crash
Wrong Turn/Cabin Fever
Black Sheep/Severance
Librarian: Quest For The Spear
Irreversible
Magic Magic
It's A Disaster
Q
The Buddy Holly Story
Sympathy For The Devil
The Witches
Quartermass Experiment
Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell
The Conspiracy
Citadel
You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger
When The Lights Went Out
Puberty Blues (1981)
High Road To China
Black Robe
Four Lions
Saint
Shine
Little Accidents
This Boy's Life

These were found on blu-ray.com when using the 1080i filter on the search function. I have only seen Crash and Wrong Turn/Cabin Fever and have not seen any of those other blu-rays, but according to blu-ray.com they should be 1080i.

The following movies were also found on another 1080i filter search:
Basic
Staten Island/Brooklyn Rules
Compulsion
Penelope
Blackthorn
Trouble With Bliss
Suburban Mayhem
Miss Potter
Blood And Bone
Messengers 2/Solstice
Bullet In The Face
The Horseman
Hatchet III
Martyrs
Human Centipede
Walk To Remember
Halloween (1978) - This was released twice in Australia. The 2008 Beyond Home Entertainment blu is apparently 1080i and the 2011 Umbrella blu is apparently 1080p.

Yeah there's a search filter but it doesn't include all 1080i releases (The Moth Diaries is another 1080i Australian blu-ray but blu-ray.com lists it as 1080p). blu-ray.com seems to assume that a blu-ray is 1080/24p unless and until someone states otherwise.

I thought that this thread could serve as a catch-all for people to add 1080i titles whenever they come across one, just as a heads up for everyone else who wishes to avoid buying a 1080i blu-ray.

The Island really, really suffers from only having 640kbps Dolby Digital audio An extravagant action/sci-fi movie of that magnititude demands DTS-HD MA, damn it all!

I would say so. The recent show Gallipoli is also 1080i50.
The first two seasons of the TV series Orphan Black are in 1080i50 as well, whilst the second two are 1080p24. I asked around before I bought the show and people told me that since it's filmed in Canada the 1080p release would be correct one. I subsequently ordered it from Amazon rather than locally.
