Default RAW (2017) - 20th September 2017

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to drop by to mention that we're releasing Julia Ducournau's RAW on Special Edition Blu-ray on September 20th.

About the film:
Justine, a promising young student joins her sister at a prestigious veterinary college but upon entering the school, she steps into a decadent, merciless and dangerously seductive world beyond her wildest imaginings. During a first week filled with extreme hazing rituals, desperate to fit in, she defies her vegan upbringing and eats raw meat for the first time. From here she develops an insatiable desire for flesh – of all types – and what we witness is a coming-of age like no other, an awakening that is both carnal and primal that takes Justine on a journey that is as harrowing as it is beautiful.

Ouch, shipping is $24.00 to the US. Will other places be selling this online or do you have to buy directly from Monster Pictures?

Damn son. Might have to order this from Monster Pictures direct instead of waiting to see if JB will get the special edition.

Unfortunately our postage rates through Australia Post are quite high, that said it's a flat rate on our site so if you're able to find another item or two you'd like it works out in the end.

Also JB Hi-Fi should be launching their pre-order for the Blu-ray within the next week we believe and their shipping will be cheaper.

I'd still have to go to Auckland to get it.. with the Warehouse and their "No R18" policy.

Man, I wish The Warehouse would change that I bet we could get some awesome cheapies if it wasn't for that policy.

Region-free but heads up, any American & Canadian collectors, some of the special features have been produced at 25fps so be mindful of that that when ordering.

This is the content at 25fps:

- Raw À Votre Goût – an in-discussion featurette with Writer/Director Julia Ducournau & Film Critic Emma Westwood
- Australian Premiere Introduction with Writer/Director Julia Ducournau & Monster Fest 2016 Festival Director Kier-La Janisse
- Australian Premiere Q&A with Writer/Director Julia Ducournau & Monster Fest 2016 Festival Director Kier-La Janisse
-Quick Bites with Julia Ducournau & Alexandra Heller-Nicholas

They must lose a ton of money on Game Of Thrones alone I've gotten a bunch of Monster titles from there (the ones that have R16 ratings) and they're always incredibly cheap.

This one is currently $19.95 on pre-order at JB HiFi.. not sure if it's supposed to be that cheap but they'll presumably have to honour it either way:

Thanks for the heads up, pre-ordered. I wonder if any US based etailers will carry this, though? I've checked a few places online so far and no luck, they just have the US dvd only.

I prefer to buy in store as more than likely the slipcover will get damaged if ordered online,do you think the online price is wrong? Im tempted to order if it is as they probably give at that price. But if i pre order into store they will only charge what it is when paying.

Well it was $29.95 a few days ago so it looks a bit fishy. Could just be they mucked it up initially and $19.95 is the correct price though.
