USA Hisense 3D HDTV 50" LED

I bought this 50" inch Tv and everything was fine up until the point when I tried the 3D. For some reason the screen has a white bar flickering at the bottom. When it goes into auto 3D mode, and for some reason it splits the screen into three separate squares. I don't if it's the TV that's faulty, the HDMI cable or if it's something I haven't set up. Has anyone had this happen before?

Here's a picture.

1. I'd avoid experimenting my 3D experience with "underprivileged" brands.
2. I'd imdtly seek its return, lest I commence cursing 3D altogether hereon.

yeah, I got it from HHGreg so I thought it'd be safe. Although after experimenting, I came to find it is only the games that do this. Not the 3D movies. Those play perfect. I do still have half a month to return it, but i'm trying to see how bad this is. lol

HHGreg has an awesome return policy. It would simply go back. I do play games but I have yet to play a game in 3D. That being said if it is, and it seems to be a concern for you. I would be there when the store opens!!!

That's good news that movies play OK. That could mean that that your 3D output settings for the games are set wrong. The TV can obviously produce 3D from movies so that's a good start. What source are you using? PS3? I don't have one so I can't really help but check your 3D output setting in the game. Like with my PC version of Avatar, I can choose different 3D outputs like interlaced, checkerboard, SBS etc. I have to use interlaced otherwise the image would look wrong and the 3D would not work. Have a play around with those settings first. I'm guessing but it might be worth looking into if you haven't done already.

Good luck

Gae
