I'm pretty sure they're the exact same. I ended up buying the Season 1 and 2 BDs individually, but after WB decided not to continue releasing the remaining seasons individually, I decided to buy the UK set. So, I was able to compare my Seasons 1 and 2 US BDs with my UK set before selling them and can confirm they were the exact same. Content was the exact same and the languages & subtitles were all the same. So, I'm pretty sure the remaining seasons are all the same.

The only difference is price and packaging.
Yup, and the UK set has a more protective, shelf-friendlier packaging too. And better yet, the covers don't have the UK rating logos. It's just on the discs and on the outer paper cover, which just gets thrown out anyway.

In the scene where Ross thinks Rachel is seducing him and he goes over there, he kicks off his shoes and humiliates himself. After Rachel clears the misunderstanding there is a couple lines missing.

Ross says something about forgetting what happened and Rachel says "I'm sorry Ross, you kicked off your shoes" then he says something else and she says something about the physical act of love, throwing his earlier line back at him, then he leaves and it changes scene.

Does anyone remember this. I never saw the extended DVD version of this episode so I know this was on the original broadcast.

ETA: I was right, just found someone who had a transcript of the episode and here is what is missing. Again I did not and have not ever seen the DVD extended version of this episode so this was on the original broadcast and cut out for some reason

Rachel: Ohh wow! Iím sorry, but Ross you kicked off your shoes!

Ross: Can we, can we just forget this ever happened?

Rachel: Yes of course, absolutely! You're right. I'm sorry.

Ross: Thank you.

Rachel: Yes.

Ross: All right I guess I'm, gonna go pack. (Starts to leave)

Rachel: Okay. Oh wait! One more thing umm, do-do we still need to uh settle the question of "us?"
I've seen this episode multiple times and know exactly the scene you're referring to ("You weren't trying to entice me with your nakedness?"), but I don't remember those lines at all.

What do you do with those then? They're either just on the cover with one tiny piece of gooey glue or not attached at all and just fall off the minute you take off the shrink wrap. If there was a way to keep them on the cover, I'd keep 'em.

Just checking, did you use a computer and actually compare the video files themselves? (Bitrate, filesize etc.)

And for anyone who's interested, I'd think it best to actually buy the Australian release which has each season in a seperate proper Bluray case.

And "lost" episodes of Friends were apparently going to be added to Netflix this year. Did that ever happen?

Not anymore - it's been slightly repackaged so that the information sheet is actually printed on the box, including rating logos.

I recently swapped my old UK box for the US set. The overall packaging is nicer, but it's hell getting the discs out.

On an unrelated note, I've only seen the broadcast episodes of Friends. I have the extended DVD box set and tried to watch an episode last night, but it's literally a pixelated, interlaced mess. I can't fathom how it got past quality control even by 2007 standards. It's really annoying because I looked at a Movie Censorship comparison and the additional scenes look quite amusing.
