It seems like animated kids movies like Nemo and Toy Story are never going for less than $20 at places like Best Buy.

I never see great deals for those kinds of movies in the $10 range.

...I wonder why that is?
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.
Dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix.
Angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night.

Disney and Pixar movies are always high. Cheapest usually around $19.99 (on release week or on sale) and then it goes up. Probably because there's a demand of these type of movies. I also heard dropping the price it cheapens the movie and I'm guessing Disney don't want their popular films in the $5 aisle or the $7.88 dump bin.

The recent Pixar re-releases + Digital HD... Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Wall-E, The Incredibles... is it safe to assume that at some point in the future, other Pixar flicks (Cars, Monsters Inc., Brave, etc.) may get similar + Digital HD re-releases?

Yeah, Disney, Pixar, and Marvel movies never really go on sale below $20. Some older Disney films, that may be considered lower tier films, can go for $12-$15, and occasionally, drop to $10, such as Lilo and Stitch, Oliver and Company, and The Aristocats currently are. But most Disney films stay higher priced.

Some times, Disney/Pixar new releases can also be found for $10 on Black Friday. Other than that, Disney keeps their titles high priced.

FWIW, received my Nemo 3D reissue from Amaz today and it does not include a slip. $32.

(Interesting that Lee Unkrich was not in the mix for Dory?)
