True, and actually my solution for when I do want to sit in an undisturbed and closed off room is, I converted my home office into an "Office HT" room. I have some decent gear in there with separates, which also serves as my 2-channel room. My work area faces 5 speakers (Mains, heights, center), the gear, and a 40" LED, two dual-driver isobaric 600W 12" sealed subs, and behind me are surround + surround heights for a 9.2 setup. I telecommute so I spend my work day in there with music going, and when I want to watch movies at night without disturbing the sleeping household, that's where I go. So I do actually have a black pit, and it's in my man cave.
Defeat of deduct must go over defense before detail does.

I think you are right, mate. Makes sense. I remember trying out Revolutions and it sounding REALLY good all the way through. Definitely showing it's age.

Been a while since the topic starter came online. In that case I am willing to take this topic over and keep it updated if a Mod agrees with that.

Thanks. It has been a while, but I also have not been receiving any submissions. My PS4 was my blu-ray player and it was stolen by movers so I have been without the player. I'm sure great stuff is still being released.

Sorry to hear that. Since you are back, you may remove: Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Because the Extended Edtion is already on the list too. It's now double. We didn't this with LotR either.

I also fired up 'Captain Philips' now which has a great soundtrack. I am sure I will find some scenes for the list.

For the list:

Lone Survivor - All Battle Scenes & Helicopter/Plane Scenes

Lone Survivor has been added. The Hobbit is deleted. Let me know about Captain Philips. I enjoyed that movie.

Will do, Captain Philips is in general already a great track. It was also nominated for a Oscar for best soundmix.

We also need Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on the list. Do you own that movie?

Where Sauron meets Gandalf, can someone test that scene? I am sure that's a good LFE moment. Only need confirmation. And I am sure they are more good scenes.

Strangely, I haven't seen any of the Hobbit movies, yet. I saw the LotR movies in the theaters.

I think in Captain Philips a lot of the good sound is in the second half of the movie when they are on the smaller boat.

Watched Captain Philips. The track is decent some good rear moments. But nothing really worth on the list. The helicopter circling around the Life Boat and inside the Life Boat where you can here the water outside.

But it's not really something to remember.

I will try Amazing Spider-Man 2 later on.

In all honesty, the list needs to be combed through because not every scene on the list is "reference".
