Hey Al my friend. I hope your day is going well.

The receiver is "out for delivery" so hopefully before too much longer(as long as it arrives safely).

Yes sir I am now on a quest to rebuild a Home Theater I can be proud of.
Speaker upgrades are a must(Just not sure what order to upgrade)Speakers/Projector/Amplifiers.
I am going to do a good amount of research on the speaker lines.I still have a place in my heart for B&W,as well as Paradigm.

Any suggestions from you buddy?

What is it that you ultimately seek for in a speaker? I remember your room with the whole Jedi deco it was a nice room .

Yes sir it was "The Jedi Temple Home Theater".
The one I am building now is "The Jedi Temple HT 2"

I like speakers with a natural sound that aren't to tuned for HT use.Where I could play music and get a sound I am happy with.

Budget wise?

Ever tried Monitor Audio?

You want something musical, does it have to play at loud volumes?, music style?

How important is low end extension?

Thanks for the reminder of Monitor Audio. A great brand with a great sound. Also seems as if they have a few different lines at different price points.

Good morning Todd and congratulations on the safe arrival of the Emotiva Fusion 8100.

Is the Klipsch sub also new?
John - I love the smell of vinyl in the morning!

Good Morning John(hope you are well)

The sub is about 2 weeks old(gave my Polk Sub to a good friend whom I gave a HT to)
So figured I would match my other speakers by going with Klipsch.

The Emotiva is a beast.Almost 30 pounds of HT goodness. All pressed steel except for the front aluminum plate.

Congrats then too on the Klipsch subwoofer. I'm sure it'll integrate well with your other Klipsch speakers. Looks like you'll have a fun day ahead of you connecting it all and trying it out! Do let us know what your impressions are.

Thank You Very Much my Friend.

Sadly may not have time to get it together today.

The same friend I gave a Home Theater to,I am meeting for lunch.I picked up some more Blurays for him,so I will be meeting him to drop them off.

He has 2 children 13 and 6.So the Home Theater has been a great addition for them.Him,his wife, and kids all get together 2 to 3 times a week to watch a movie in a room over the garage they turned into a HT.
They are tight on funds so I pick up a couple of extra movies when I can,so their collection can grow.Even with the 4 Blus today they will only have about 10 or so.
