Starting next season Turner Sports will get a lot more of the marquee NCAA tournament games. From the link:

In 2014 and 2015, TBS will televise the two national semifinal games, while CBS will broadcast the national championship game. Moreover, the two networks will also begin splitting the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games.

The rotation will start in 2016, when TBS will broadcast the national championship game. CBS broadcasts the game in 2017.

That sucks.
The whole Final Four is a big deal. Teams hang banners just for getting there, even if they don't get to the final. It shouldn't be split up like this. Show it where the most people will see it!!!

So that means people that don't have cable cannot watch the National Semifinal game since TBS is cable televised network? If so that's going to hurt ratings?

I doubt it. I mean almost everyone has cable. TBS is basic. I mean if you at least don't have basic cable not sure there is much to be done for you.Most sporting events now are on cable except the NFL. The NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAFB playoffs are all mostly on cable until the championship.

Andrew Wiggins, the #1 recruit in the country, will sign his letter of intent tomorrow at 12:15. He will not be holding a press conference and will instead just have parents, coaches, and teammates around. The only reporter at the announcement will be Grant Taylor from Huntington, West Virginia's The Herald Dispatch. Wiggins has narrowed his list to Florida State (where both his parents attended), Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina.

He's not coming to Kentucky or I would have known by now. Of course Shabazz was supposed to come to UK last year but changed his mind a day or two before so anything is possible. I'm thinking he is picking Florida State but Kansas wouldn't surprise me. UNC would definitely surprise me though.

The NBA needs to either let them declare for the NBA draft after high school or make them stay at the very least two years. The one and done rule is so frustrating for someone like me that is more of a NCAA basketball fan versus NBA.

NCAA basketball and the NBA were on equal footing for me until about the mid-90's when the number of players skipping college or playing <2 seasons of college ball soared. Ever since I watch a handful of regular season college basketball games and watch a lot of the national tourney.

For an age requirement to really work you'd need it to be similar to the NFL where most guys have to play 3 seasons. That's what makes college football so huge. But then again football is different in that guys take longer to develop anyway. Not many freshmen of sophomores could jump to the NFL.
