I've reached 600 Blu-rays. I average about a hundred Blu-rays a year and I seriously need to spend less in the foreseeable future because I am running out of space.

I'm adding another shelving unit soon... no space limitations for me...

That said, I'll be on to the next club by April.... maybe sooner...

I have shelves, but my CD's, DVD's, and video games are on it and I am too lazy to remove/replace them.

My New Years Resolution in 2015 is to cut back on unnecessary spending, including Blu-rays.

I actually just cancelled an order recently after a major impulse buy, if I had not cancelled it I would have been another $150 down the drain on movies that were crap to begin with. Just because they were around $4-11 per movie. I definitely didn't have the space, nor the money, for such an impulse buy.

I saw a good deal and I went crazy. Good thing I came to my senses before the point of no return.
The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.

Just saw this thread and realized that I will probably never breach the 600 mark. I love collecting, but at the rate the movies I'm actually interested in buying are released, it is unlikely there will be enough of m faves to push me over. The only tittles I want that are available as of now are Tales From the Crypt, Vincent Price Collection Vol. 2, and The Long Goodbye.
wish list: Key Largo, War of the Worlds, Mister Roberts, This Island Earth, Horror of Dracula, Godzilla vs. Mothra, Island of Terror, Count Yorga, Duel, The Last Detail, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, King Kong '76, The Last Wave, Jaws 2, The Brood, Looker, Neighbors, After Hours, Into the Night, Critters, The Hitcher, House, Summer School, Biloxi Blues, Midnight Run, Twins, The Abyss, The Burbs, Joe vs. The Volcano, Malice, Breakdown, Ghost and the Darkness, The Beach, 8mm, Mulholland Drive

I'd probably be at 600 if I didn't sell of a lot of the stuff I ended up not liking. Matter of fact, I had a boat load of duplicates because I upgraded to either digi or steelbook so I might actually have over 600 in my house.

That's how I am feeling right now. Luckily, I save all of my receipts and majority of my new movies, I don't open them right away. I'm thinking about returning a couple of my Walmart exclusive Blu-rays and buying the cheaper version instead.

This Black Friday took me up to about 570 (700 if we count coasters that haven't made it to BD yet). Even though I sell flicks I don't think I'll want to watch again, I'll probably hit 600 BDs by next BF. Yes, it's a disease!
