Wife and I love Dory.

And I suspect we aren't the only ones...

I totally forgot Finding Nemo was 12 years old already. Where did the time go?

It was an okay teaser. Doubt it'll reach Cars 2 territory, and it's Pixar, so of course I'll be watching this. Not expecting it to be better than the original though, but that's fine by me.
I hope by that you mean it won't be as absymal as Cars 2.

I need one more real trailer showing the plot more in depth before judging how good or bad this film might be.

Pixar has perhaps the most respectable track record overall of any studio, and despite a couple of misfires, Finding Nemo was and still is one of Pixar's best releases to date.

Wow, those characters look so kiddy. Hope this isn't a sign that Pixar's going more towards kids than any age.

If by that you mean the most loved creature in the movie, you are right. I don't know if you remember well, but Dory was incredibly popular with all ages, the whale impressions became a hype and even among the critics there was one element coming back, the praise for Ellen as the memorable (haha) Dory.

Personally, I liked all of them equally. Bit more love for the turtle-dudes, though.

I can see what you mean. On the other hand, Finding Nemo was an excellent mix of soft looking (kiddy) characters and more rough looking ones. When I think about it, the difference between some of those designs were intentionally extreme. And yet, it worked. It felt like they shared the same universe. So, when I think of the octopus image that was released before, I believe we're safe.
