I keep waiting for the studios to convert one of Harryhausen's films like Jason and the Argonauts or my personal favorite The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, but probably the original Clash of the Titans would get the treatment first. Harryhausen is not opposed to updating his films. He allowed his early Black and White films to be colorized.

Old enough to have seen most EVERY 3D movie in the theaters in the 50's.
Outstanding was House Of Wax (Technicolor) which even as a movie movie stands up today just fine. Most of the 'trick' films with lots of pop outs were the westerns...Charge At Feather River comes to mind. There were some black and white films with good 3D as well like Man In The Dark (I still remember cringing down in the seat when the hypodermic came out of the screen). But for purposes of this thread...House Of Wax...no question. Murders In The Rue Morgue also was a quality production (and it had a gorilla suit!) |

I too have been waiting for Jurasic Park 3d. It is out now at theatures. I hope that it is good, but I got Top Gun 3d the other day and was disappointed in the 3d quality. move great, but most of the oder seens where the sun glares was pixilated. I hope that Jurasic Park is not to old to clean-up with great 3d.

I watch that movie all the time and think; "man, that spear must look cool." I don't want to use my imagination when watching a flick, what is this? The 50's? I kid, I kid, but I want that disk!
