Well none of these are out yet. Senran Kagura isn't a JRPG. Just a sexy Dynasty Warriors type game. For Muramasa though, there might be a guide for the Wii version.

There's other JRPGs on Vita like Tales of Innocence, Tales of Hearts, Ys, The Legend of Heroes, Moe Moe Daisensou Gendaiban ++, and maybe some others which haven't been localized yet or maybe never will. There's a few U.S. releases to also occupy you like Persona 4 Golden, Disgaea 3, Ragnarok, and maybe a couple of others.

I'm not a JRPG guy at all. In fact, I've never imported any sort of game from Japan. That being said, I am extremely intrigued by Muramasa. Do you all speak/read Japanese, or are the games easy enough to understand? I took Japanese in college, but about 98% of it has left me.

Well if you have a Wii, you can be playing Muramasa in English right now if you want since the Wii version was localized.

I know some Japanese, but never got close to perfecting it but that doesn't stop me from importing. I have quite a few imports from PS3 and PSP.

Some games are really easy to understand even without knowing Japanese, and some games pretty much require at least some Japanese knowledge.

Good news for Muramasa fans, Aksys are localizing Muramasa Rebirth in America for PS Vita. Oh and looks like they will even retranslate the game. And don't worry they're also bringing over the DLC stories.

Great news! So is this a sequel to The Demon Blade, or just a repackaging/renaming for the US?

It's a port of The Demon Blade. It also includes 4 DLC stories with each 1 featuring a new playable character.

Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus sells over 120,000 copies. Beats the 1st week sales of the 3DS games in the series.

Five days following its release in Japan, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus on the PlayStation Vita has sold 120,000 copies between boxed retail copies and downloads, the game's publisher, Marvelous AQL, have announced. This makes Shinovi Versus. the fastest-selling game in the series thus far.

For comparison, here's how the Senran Kagura games released for the Nintendo 3DS did in their first week:

(2011) Senran Kagura Portrait of Girls – 52,206

(2012) Senran Kagura Burst The Crimson Girls – 69,084

So, why is Shinovi Versus doing so well? There are a few possible reasons.

First, the Vita game's fan-service elements have seen a significant upgrade from their 3DS predecessors, which undoubtedly helped push sales. Second, the Senran Kagura anime began airing in Japan earlier in the year and has likely exposed more people to the series. And finally, Shinovi Versus. was also released the same week as the PlayStation Vita price cut.

These numbers don't count online sales like Amazon and importing sites like Play-Asia. I'm mentioning this because this makes the 1st game in the series that has been import-friendly to people outside of Japan since the 3DS games are Region-Locked. So this likely helped boost numbers as well.

Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus and Phantasy Star Online 2 sell approximately 90% of the 1st shipment copies

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus sold 94,324 copies at retail when it released last week in Japan, and sales tracker, Media Create, report that this was a 93.37% sell-through, which means the game was virtually sold out at stores.

That explains the high number of download sales. Marvelous AQL reported that total sales, including downloads, were 120,000, which means that a lot of folks who couldn't find the game at a store opted to download it instead.

Meanwhile, the retail version of Phantasy Star Online 2 saw a high sell-through percentage as well. At 61,227 retail copies sold, Phantasy Star Online 2 sold through 89.39% of its shipment.

Aksys is making a Limited Edition for Muramasa

Aksys will release two versions of Muramasa Rebirth in North America. You can get a stand alone game for $39.99 or the $59.99 limited edition which Amazon revealed.

The limited edition includes a custom Vita face cover, PS Vita skin with art from the game, a drawstring pouch to keep your Vita clean, and a Muramasa lithograph drawn by George Kamitani from Vanillaware.

Muramasa Rebirth is slated for release this summer.
