This is what the Russo brothers had to say about Avengers: Age of Ultron:

Quote:
"Weve seen what everyone else has seen that was at Comic-Con," answered Joe Russo. "We saw that incredible two minutes of footage from it. [Avengers: Age of Ultron] looks like the biggest movie ever made, so were very excited for it. We have read the script. Its incredible. I think Joss is going to blow people away with this one."

Why do you think that they would listen to me ? I'm just hoping that not too much will be cut from Avengers: AoU. I'd hate see that it would be shorter then 2012's Avengers movie but then again, maybe they will keep its running time right at around what the 2012' Avengers movies 143 minute running time is. So, Maybe I shouldn't be too worried about that .

It's way too early to worry about things being cut from the film...

Yes, But When reshoots happen that gets me worried that, that could shorten the running time shorter then 2012's Avengers movie .

Reshoots happen for every movie. And usually reshoots add scenes to make things work better. There's absolutely no correlation between reshoots and having a shorter running time...

Oh, Well that's great to hear then . I always thought that reshoots cause a shortened running time of movies .

The reshoots on this film were already part of the schedule. Marvel tends to find their films in the editing room, meaning they always plan for reshoots after they get a first assembly cut of the film.

This same process was used EXTENSIVELY on the Prequels with Lucas.

It's not good or bad. It's just part of making films now, especially with the way Marvel keeps pumping these films out at this rate.
"Because he's the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll hunt him... because he can take it... because he's not a hero... he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a DARK KNIGHT."

It's pretty much the special shown on ABC a few months back, but without the large amount of teasers for the Phase 2 films (since at the time, the most work was done on IM3 and TWS).
1st Blu-Ray: (500) Days of Summer
100th Blu-Ray: Deadwood: The Complete Series
