This box seems to be the Scandinavian edition.
I am waiting for a US/UK box.

Thanks for that info. I was wondering which country used that rating logo.

I'm not crazy about the cover art either, but I'm skeptical in a USA trilogy or quadrilogy release at this point. Plus it appears that this is a 3-disc case which saves a lot of shelf-space for me.

I will be looking forward too to your news (if it has english menus, subtitles etc.).
I'd appreciate it if you checked if they have Greek subtitles.
The individual German ones, have them.

Yes, the art work is a bit much and does not reflect the movies very well.

Just dispatched this morning (2014-12-31)! Now the wait begins...
Hey man, thanks for posting this stuff!! I greatly anticipate reading your findings about it truly being region free. I combed through different sites and couldn't find any information about this whatsoever.

Like many others, I grew up with these movies and it always p!ssed me off they only released a 'box' set of 1 & 2 in the U.S.

It is region-free, and very English-friendly. Cover is in English, too.

I love how they messed up the cover art by adding Swank's pose on the front....

Wow... I am gonna have to order that set... The first two are good movies, the third is a guilty pleasure type movie as it's so cheesy and over the top

Damn!!! I'm trying to buy this but they won't ship it to my address. I think it's because it's only fulfilled by Amazon.uk while it's sold by Future Movie Shop.

Every time I select my address I get the following message:

Sorry, this item can't be sent to your selected address. Learn more. You may either change the delivery address or delete the item from your order.

I tried adding a Blu Ray that is shipped AND sold by Amazon.uk and it allowed me to proceed just fine as it always has in the past.

EDIT: I contacted Amazon.UK support via chat. Although this is fulfilled by Amazon, this won't ship internationally due to the seller. I guess I have to keep checking. There's another seller on there that would ship to me but I'm not willing to pay $45 USD for the set.

EDIT 2: I use DVD Profiler for cataloging my movies. Just for the hell of it, I searched and downloaded the profiles for this set. It found two profiles that were almost identical and had the same cover art: One from Sweden, one from France (I think). This information is usually accurate too, but not always 100% correct. I was able to view the back cover art for the set itself, and all movies. DVD Profiler also showed all three movies as Region Free, both in the disc stats, and the back of the movies showed Region ABC.

The France set showed KK III as only having DTS-MA 2.0 while the other two are in 5.1. The Swedish set showed all three as having DTS-MA 5.1. It's my belief however that these are both the same set and one profile as incorrect information.

Do the first two films have the same extras as the US releases? Same transfers?

Well, this might be an option too. There's a five-film region free set from Australia. I personally though have no interest in The Next Karate Kid or the 2010 remake:

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Ka...lu-ray/108143/

https://www.jbhifi.com.au/movies-tv-...ection/581648/

This comes to about $34 USD and they ship to the U.S. They also sell just a stand-alone Karate Kid III.

Yeah, I wouldn't want either of those in my collection.

Thanks anyways.

FWIW, the Amazon.co.uk reseller I bought mine from was TVserieshop.
Perhaps you could send them a message asking if they could put one up for sale?

THANK YOU for the information. That was very helpful. I still hate the cover art and do not find it funny that they used the silhouette image of Karate Kid 4 to promote Karate Kid 1-3. She's not even IN these movies. They messed up BIG TIME!
