Tried watching my Cocktail bd today and it wouldn't play.
This is the second copy of CT that I've bought because I had the same problem with the last copy. I thought maybe the disc was faulty, so I chucked it and bought another one. Price wasn't really an issue as I had gotten them outta the Wal-Mart bargain bin to begin with. Anyway, I put the disc in my blu-ray player (Samsung bd 1250 or 1255 model, can't remember which right now) and the only thing to appear on the tv screen is the Tri-Star Entertainment logo. It won't go any further than that. The timer/counter on the player is progressing as if the film was playing, but I've still got the logo appearing. Does anybody know of any problems with the disc? If it's a firmware issue, I've NEVER had to update it since I bought the machine. Also, if it does need a fw update, wouldn't a warning appear on my tv screen to tell me to do so? Any thoughts?
