Body the found is likely the guy held captive in the house. The guy Joe stabbed in front of Claire. Notice that Joe stabbed him in the same spot he'd be stabbed himself .
Plus, we never got a good look at the captive guy. His face was also in darkness so we couldn't see it. He's Joe's body double and likely volunteered himself to Joe i.e. he's a follower.
Joe planned the ending so I believe he planned to fake his death.

on a different note, does anyone remember the flashback when

Lastly, anyone remeber when

[Show spoiler]Joe told Claire about the "disease" he has where he has to kill? I believe Ryan suffers from this same "disease" but tries to use it in a good way. this is why he is always so fustrated and didn't want to be with Claire, and why death always seems to "follow" him around.

On an even different side note, I know it is ridiculous, but I was hoping that there would be an insane twist and that

They said the dental records matched and dental records can be faked. DNA would be tough to fake only way would be to put enough of your own DNA on someone else and hope that is the bit of DNA they just happen to test.

They had hackers in the cult... someone probably changed medical records for Joe to match whomever the dead guy is well in advance.

I hope Joe is in Season 2. He's a sadistic killer, but he is an integral part of the show. Also, I'd really miss James Purefoy. He steals every scene he is in with his oozing charisma.

I agree but I found the character a bit pathetic near the end, he wasn't the man in control as he was at the beginning.

. jk, but yeah I know what you mean. At first I thought he was very clever and had everything planned out... Which he was and did... But as the season went on he just seemed crazier and crazier and made many mistakes.
