+1

I've never considered it to be an action movie either, so I also left it off my list (even though it's my all-time favourite film); "crime drama with a few action sequences" sums it up perfectly.

Default WEEKLY Top 5 List

The hardest part about this thread is the tallying the votes. Life has been hectic, but I miss this so I want to return, but without the votes and end result, unless I feel inspired. I will post the new Top 5 every week, same as last time and we will just been entertained by the Top 5's posted.

I am jumping on the back of TFV, but that is fine because I like this topic: Top 5 Creepiest Moments in Film [SIZE="4"]

Default Red Dragon's Top 5 Action Films of the 1990's

1.) "The Matrix" - (Say whatever thou whilst about Keanu or the sequels, but ...in 1999 this movie rocked the cinematic landscape!)

2.) "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" - (Do not question the brilliance of the Cameronator!!!) - (seriously though ...this freaking sequel ranks up there as one of the best sequels ever!)

3.) "Hard Boiled" - (because John Woo is a cinematic genius, who has gifted us with several classic films including "The Killer", "A Better Tomorrow", "Red Cliff: Part I" and "Red Cliff: Part II", etc...)

4.) "Face-Off" - (see above) - (Plus watching Cage and Travolta have a field day mimicking each other's body language, mannerisms and facial ticks was an absolute blast!)

5.) "Con Air" - (Ultimate guilty pleasure movie ..."why couldn't you just put the bunny down?")
