I've been wondering:
Are the triple packs just the same discs as the standard releases packed together with a new cover? I assume Watchmen DC doesn't have the second disc in the TP, but if anyone has the Superman TP, does it have the lossy audio Returns or the replacement True-HD one? |

Must be a Wal-Mart exclusive until January then. Saw it at my local store last night in a Warner Blu-ray Triple Feature display. I think it was $14.

Just picked up the triple pack (Gremlins, Gremlins 2, Goonies) at Walmart yesterday for $9.00 (several Walmarts didn't have it but one store did). I can't open until Christmas though unfortunately.
To anyone who owns the triple set, are these the same discs that are sold separately with the same extras for each one? On the back of the slipcase, it lists some, but not all, the extras that each separate discs contain. For example, the Gremlins single disc contains 2 commentaries, a featurette, additional scenes, and trailers. Yet all that is listed for Gremlins on the triple pack is "over 10 minutes of additional scenes and making of featurette". It seems odd that they would included some but not all the extras when there are only a few extras anyways. Did they just not list all the extras on the back or did they actually leave some out for the triple pack? |
