Bad for you, Universal Studios is a sinner.

Again:

"They own a 4K transfer of the movie. In the future to come, could they fix that via digital tweakery, or they are doomed to do a new transfer ???"

Agreed. I got them maybe last year when the later two were released individually, and feel the same. I liked the first, liked the second a lot, and thought the third was merely okay. I'm looking even more forward to the Tom Hardy reboot than the video game, but both are on my list.

It is - Ive known that for a long time mind!

What surprised me on getting the trilogy set on blu-ray last year was the first Mad Max. Id always underrated it but its so much fun, a lot better than I remember it and really darkly funny in places too.
