Have no interest at all in this steelbook. The TV show was sexist and treated women like trash, I'm assuming the movie will have been the same.

I think that's a very poor comment, the series is a good 30 years young. The film will be loosely based on characters, I think people's views have changed somewhat since the series.

Big fan of the 70's show and I also like a few of Director Nick Loves films...'The Buisness', 'The Football Factory' and 'The Firm'...however, I thought 'The Sweeney' was god-awful garbage!!!

No sign of mine yesterday, probably the weather. Looks good in the photos, though Winstone's expression and the position of his right leg make it look like he's just discovered something unwelcome in his pants

After the reviews I was expecting it to be terrible, reviews were wrong.

I loved it, waiting on the Steelbook now.

You can't do TV trial by time machine - The Sweeney on TV ended over 30 years ago and was one of the best British cop shows ever

Agreed that's over priced. The embossing and back look great but that pasted on photo on the cover looks really cheap imo

I don't mind the cover much, (it's way better than that upcoming 7 Psychopaths!) but I would have thought £18 tops. I'll just keep an eye on it for a while. I doubt this will sell out ala Life of Pi.
