The English dialogue is exactly the same as the orange sets. It's presented with the Japanese music though instead of the US score.

They did redub the first 67 episodes in 2005-2006 and partially redubbed the Ginyu/Frieza episodes in 2007 for consistency. The dialogue itself didn't change much though (though there was some added cussing, etc).

It has corrected dialogue, for example now it correctly says "It's over 8,000" instead of the wrong "It's over 9,000" line. I'm not sure if the Blus of DBZ were also fixed or not, but the orange bricks were definitely incorrect. Also it's uncropped at the correct 4:3 aspect ratio. Everything that was wrong with the orange DVDs were fixed for Kai. It's not just removing filler.
The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.

There is the occasional bit of new animation, to help bridge certain scenes / frames together. It sticks out quite a bit though, as it looks a lot cheaper.

The Blu-Rays have the same tracks as the Orange Bricks.

He's asking about Kai, not Z.

Kai has an entirely new dub. Even the Japanese version was fully rerecorded with new dialog that cut out the filler. Unfortunately, due to the way the filler was done, not all fo the filler was cut out. Thankfully, most if it was though. For example, they don't spend 10 episodes for the first 6 months of the Vegeta saga. Like the manga, it does a 6 month jump after Piccolo removes Gohan's tail.

I saw the Season Sets for $24.99 up at Best Buy they had Seasons 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 9 I plan to start picking these up later on this year. Maybe when Black Friday or Amazon has some sort of sale going on with FUNimation titles I will do it then and get the rest of Kai

I've heard rumblings about Funimation re-releasing the DBZ movies (1-13) as well as the original DB movies for (the first time) on Blu-ray. Obviously it's foolish to expect that they'd release Dragon Ball/GT (the series) on BD, since they don't have the actual film for those, but I can definitely see all of the movies being released.

Way more exciting tremors over at Kanzenshuu.. a member who has access to stereo recordings of the original Japanese audio for DBZ, is going to be meeting with Chris Sabat this week about potentially using them..

Exciting!

Original Japanese audio? If they didn't use the original on the DVD/BD releases, then what did they use?

Yes the audio on the DVDs/BD are the 'original'.

All of the Japanese audio on the DVDs are in Mono, because Toei didn't keep the master recordings, and are in terrible quality.

People recorded the episodes when they originally aired, so they have them in stereo, and in much better clarity.

Example;

You can find various examples of the Japanese Broadcast Audio on YouTube.

The upcoming film Dragonball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragonball Z: The F in Fukkatsu, or The Resurrected F) will be the first Japanese film to open in 3D IMAX Digital Theaters. The film will premiere in 18 3D IMAX screens as well as other 2D and 3D screens throughout Japan on April 18.

2013's Dragonball Z: Battle Of Gods film was the first Japanese film wo be screened in IMAX theaters, but was not screened in 3D.

Dragonball manga creator Akira Toriyama said in an interview in November that the 'F' in the film's title stands for "Frieza," who will be revived in the film. Toriyama noted that he thought of the title while listening to "F" by rock band Maximum The Hormone, whom he came to know personally through a friend. The song itself features Frieza as a motif, and will be used as a "battle song" during one of the battle scenes in the film. The band originally released the song as its eighth single in July 2008.

Toriyama is personally credited with the original concept, screenplay, and character designs of the new movie. Dragonball Z animation director Tadayoshi Yamamuro is directing the new movie. Pop idol group Momoiro Clover Z (Sailor Moon Crystal, Bodacious Space Pirates) performs the film's theme song.

The film stars two original characters designed by Toriyama himself: Sorbet (seen above-left) and Tagoma (above-right). The characters are the survivors of the Frieza army who use the dragonballs to revive him.

Those who purchase advance tickets receive an exclusive earphone jack strap of either Goku or Frieza modeled by Toriyama. Regular advance tickets cost 1,400 yen (about US$12), middle and elementary school student tickets cost 800 yen (US$7), and pair tickets cost 2,100 yen (US$17). Special movie ticket cards are on sale now.

He was the screenwriter for this movie, like he was for Battle of Gods.
