As a slightly more casual fan of Conan the Barbarian, which version of it do you think would be better for me? The original, higher quality 5.1 audio version or the fixed, but less impressive 5.1 audio? I'm looking at getting one of the French packs of both movies, so either the original 5.1 audio amaray double pack or the fixed 5.1 audio Steelbook double pack. Thanks .

Ordered the French Steelbook set, for any UK buyers who have this does this play uncut as standard or will I need to change my player to French?

Also own the french steel but haven't watched it yet. Wasn't it all other player languages besides english that played the uncut version? Or was that trick only for the UK disc maybe?

the disc is uncut (uncut Extended International Cut) if played with a region A player or with a region B player set to non English player menus

I suggest you use French, because someone said that he had it in Finnish and it also played the cut version!

Anyway , before watching the film, check the duration on your player:

The UK cut is 2h 10min 10s and the uncut version is 2h 10min 31s
