Agree! Those are great covers! And don't forget the German steelbooks of the same! Very good stuff.

The Spirit was a bad movie....still haven't seen Conan though...

Already have The Crow and considering importing the Japanese release. About to get THE PUNISHER, would care more if it's the Extended Cut will import the UK Blu, and eventually buy KICK-ASS USA with slipcover. Or wait for the Duology set later this year.
Only want to own the UK or HK releases of the Schwarzenegger CONAN films and still haven't seen THE SPIRIT. Even though it isn't similar to the comics.

I'd also rather make a custom set for THE AVENGERS: Phase I. There's even one already for three of the Vertigo films. V for Vendetta, Watchmen, and Constantine.
Pass on this.

Working on rebuys. Every 10 or so, I'll buy a couple titles I've never owned on the format.

Anyone else irritated when they stick a sequel in a boxed set without including the original?

Looks like they forgot to print the "/sarcasm" after the boxset title.

I would hardly call that an ULTIMATE comic book film collection. Somebody in the marketing department thought that they were being funny. Turns out that their superior took them seriously.

Meh. Give me a Blu of the Punisher extended cut with the Jimmy Weeks sub-plot, then we'll talk.

I was referring to the posts about the boxed set containing Hellboy 2.

As Kick-Ass is Lionsgate and Kick-Ass 2 is Universal, I wouldn't count on this.

I am actually looking forward to this release. I have been putting off buying the punisher or the crow seperately and now I have an excuse to get them. I dont really know why but I feel an urge to watch Conan the barbarian again, and despite all the bad reviews for the spirit, i still want to see it. I already own kick ass (my favorite movie) so i could sell that and get a couple bucks off the set. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a slipcover, or at least a slipbox.
Last purchase: Tim Burton Triple Feature & Conan the Barbarian (2011) Total= $7.88

Bought this, pretty nice set for a good price ($5/per)
Each movie has its own disk but they all come in one case

That's because Sony holds worldwide rights to the first Hellboy film. Universal was kindly able to pick up rights to Hellboy II because Sony felt it wasn't a viable film.

Same covers as the new steelbooks out at most Wal-Marts, at least Hellboy 2 and Scott Pilgrim are. Pretty sure trhe other 2 are also coming in comic cover steels, I just haven't seen em anywhere yet.
I got the Crow, don't need the others. Maybe Kick-Ass someday when cheap enough. Not gonna tarnish Conan by watching the remake ever again.
