It's listed on Amazon, just not available to order yet. It should be on there to preorder in a few days.

BTW, I was just noticing, does this not include an uncut version like BoG did?

It's coming out so fast it probably hasn't had time to air an extended version on Japanese television yet.

I don't remember anything that special about the Uncut version of Battle Of Gods. Sure some scenes were extended and had that prologue which is I guess great for people who haven't seen the series or haven't watched the series in like forever ago, but calling it an Uncut version is definitely not the term I would use.

Correct, its the Extended version, on the cover, just 'Uncut' as a subheader.

You mean aside from giving more development to the other characters like the scene where Oolong and Beerus are going to play Paper Rock Scissors? Oh, and the scene where Whis was eating ice cream as he came to the ship? That 20 minutes brought a lot more enjoyment to the movie. The only downside was its downgrade in audio. I don't understand why one version has 5.1 but the other is 2.0.

Probably a licensing issue with the Japanese audio for being shown on TV in Japan and that it was most likely made in 2.0. So a 5.1 track would be an upmix. Movie version would be in 5.1 for being in theaters.

English audio doesn't have to worry about things like that except in cases like the K-ON! Blu-rays from Bandai had both audio tracks in lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 audio even though the English Dub version did not have to be lossy. But this was a case of It's still TrueHD audio so that not having to do it in just plain Dolby Digital but just in 2.0 TrueHD instead of 5.1.

Why would they air something on TV in 2.0 in 2013/2014? That is just stupid.

Well have you ever noticed that most Anime TV DVDs and Blu-rays have English Audio in 5.1, and Japanese in 2.0? It's rare for a TV series in Japan to be in 5.1 audio which even includes shows made between 2010-2015. Even if you import any of those series in Japan, it will most likely still be in 2.0 audio unless for some reason the Japanese company refuses to allow a 5.1 Japanese audio track on a U.S. Blu-ray with probably fears of Japanese fans importing it.

I've always heard things like Japanese rooms being smaller which makes it so that they can't get the full experience, or that they don't necessarily have the right equipment in their homes.

Honestly, I never really paid attention since dubs are so good these days that I tend to stay with those. DB is just one of those cases where I watch the movie in both languages since I prefer the original and Z in Jp and Kai in English.

#7 was a kickass episode but as it was getting exciting it abruptly ended. Now I've to say that I legitimately can't wait for the next episode!

Btw, also can't wait for an actual new arc than something I've already seen before. Yeah sure, Chef Vegeta is cool but the rest is more or less intact from BoG.

I believe Funimation may be announcing a DBS dub on Saturday at the FUNimation Industry Panel. They denied it on the IGN interview but at the same time they were hinting at it.
Funimation - "we reveal quite a bit of insider information such as more information about theatrical releases coming next year, Broadcast Dub behind-the-scenes, *cough Dragon Ball Super cough*"
http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/09/...ime-simulcasts
http://www.funimation.com/blog/2015/...b-special-ova/

I may be reading too much into this.

Yeah, supposedly Funimation has a big announcement tomorrow at NDK. I'm going to try to go to their panel.

I'm enjoying Super so far. Certainly expands on the story from Battle of the God's.

I just hope Super isn't more of the same from Z. New bad guy, achieve a new form, rinse and repeat.

The original Dragon Ball didn't do this and maintained good, interesting stories.
