There are a decent amount I'm interested in but I f-ing hate double features! I want one movie on one disc. The only time this doesn't usually bother me is if it's a movie and its sequel. Even then I'd prefer them separate but it's not as bad. I also hate that they're getting rid of previously released extras.

But if reviews for the Blu's are good I'd like these movies:

The Nines (no interest in Slipstream but The Nines was a gem!)
Anatomy/Anatomy 2

Others I'd be interested in:

D.E.B.S
Excess Baggage
Little Black Book

There are some others I might consider upgrading my DVD's for. They aren't ones I ever really watch but if the price is right.

The only titles I would be interested in are D.E.B.S and Excess Baggage.

Knowing (and loving) both SHIP OF FOOLS and LILITH from archival screenings I was hoping against hope that they'd be given decent Blu-ray incarnations. I didn't entertain any undue expectations (what with four and a half hours of runtime squeezed on a single BD-50) but both are really cheeseparing transfers. Low detail, plenty of noise (suppressed in turn with 'generous' DNR) and a definite 'video' look. The duped sections predictably fare worst.

Still, this release of SHIP OF FOOLS and LILITH is acceptable where the screen is small enough… and as long as one doesn't look where the compression thinks we're not supposed to look. Of course I'm not complaining about the $5 price tag; it may entice some folks to risk a blind buy and broaden their horizons. I for one would have been willing to pay 20 per film for well-made blu-rays of these titles but now that these Mill Creek discs are out there's no chance of that ever happening.

The Nines was a fantastic movie, may have to toss out the DVD, now.

At a prescreening I went to, John August mentioned his ideal would be to have the 3+ hours of footage available via the disc menu for fans to create their own cuts of the movie... of course, this never turned out. (How'd THAT be for a blu-ray special feature, as well as rights hell?)

I'm also in for Lumet's Anderson Tapes, it's flawed, but goofy fun.

I received Anatomy/Anatomy 2 and Mr. Sardonicus/Brotherhood of Satan in the mail today and checked them out. All four titles look quite nice with no compression artifacts or post processing in my quick scan throughs of each. Mr. Sardonicus in particular looked fantastic.
