4 will go on the side walls at the first/second reflection points.
2 will go on the ceiling.
Mounting hardware is included (thankfully).
Delivery to my door for $30. (it would have been FREE if I bought 8 panels, but I don't need 8).

I bought them locally from Wave Acoustic.

With delivery and taxes it worked out to $62.15 per panel.
That's awesome JV! And a great price as well

Thanks Billy!

I should have them in place at some point next week. It all depends on when my buddy can come over to help me, since I have no tools and he's a handyman. I'm fairly cautious when I do a review of an album, speakers, gear, etc., so it may take a week or two before I impart an opinion. I will post some pics though as soon as they're up.

I do, yes! Have a friend coming over sometime this week to help me mount them. I don't have the right tools, plus 2 will go on the ceiling and I imagine that's not a job for one person. Hopefully they'll be up by next weekend.

It's possible to do the cieling with one person but it's hard to get it lined up right.

I have not done my cieling yet, I am pretty happy with how it sound now.

Being two just makes it so much easier. I'm looking forward to having them installed!

I received the panels last weekend and posted a pic in my other thread, although it's probably more appropriate I post them here as well. I have placed them temporarily where I believe the first reflection point to be. The others were just placed at random and a few feet apart.

I have a strong suspicion that the first reflection point is hitting the corners smack on, which is why I've placed 4 panels there (see pic). Since I cannot move my speakers any further out it is something I have to live with, and that's fine. As long as they end up in the right spot. The use of an empty beer case was ingenious (LOL) as it is the perfect height. The tweeter and mid-range drivers are absolutely dead centre.

Having listened with the panels temporarily in place I can say it has had a positive impact on the sound. The music sounds richer while maintaining the same levels of detail, but perhaps more accurately so. Once I have determined exactly where placement of the panels should be I intend on starting at the beginning with my speaker controls for the woofer and tweeter adjustments. I will set them at ZERO or 12 o'clock and then, while using a variety of music set them at a level that is pleasing to my ear. I also suspect that those adjustments will be less than without the panels.

It might be more beneficial to have a friend / superwoman man the controls whilst you sit in the sweet spot

Actually, in this case that wouldn't work as I would need to listen to any adjustments for several days before I could ascertain if a change is needed (wanted). Once I reach a point whereby I think I'm happy I still mess with the settings as the only way to be certain is to experiment. Hopefully I am experienced enough to know when I've gone beyond the point of acceptability and can thereby dial it back.
