He's in it a decent amount, felt like more than 8 minutes to me but it was about the same amount of time Nic Cage was in the first one.

The wife and I were really disappointed in this. Me obviously more than her since I know the original material....but I have to say not everything was bad...just meh..

After watching this the only thing I could compare it to experience wise was the way I felt after watching Highlander 2 at the theatre twenty + years ago. So much promise, unrealized, and felt like a money grab from all involved. It felt so inauthentic, the way Highlander 2 felt. After H2 I really didn't care about the characters or just anything about that story anymore. Haven't watched the original or any of the shows or follow up films since. I kinda felt that way about kickass 2 with the exception to 1. That is just to damn good a comic movie. To me Chloe Grace Moretz was the best part of 2, but even she couldn't save it. It felt lazy, and it looked like everyone was just uninspired. I hope there is no sequel.

Actually I think that scene would have worked had we not seen it and only heard of it when she gets home. For example she pulls out the device explains what it is just as in the film and when he others say she is essentially deluded the camera zooms in on her face and she begins to smile, then cut to the next scene. Seeing what she did added nothing but some poor special effects, sometimes seeing less is more.

Watched here comes the boom today and it had a better vomiting scene (as in looks) than kick ass 2, that scene in kick ass 2 could not of looked any cheaper.

Agreed. I hated that scene. Not only was the CGI terrible, but just what happened was really stupid too :\

I thought it was funny. About the same as the first one. Mindless fun for me.

I watched it last night, I enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as the first, but I think if you like the first, you'll like it. Just lower your expectations, that's what I did and enjoyed it.

Yes, tonally its strange and the hit girl side story isnt my fsvorite but the fight scenes are brilliant, chloe and hit girl are amazing, and jim carreys small role is really fun too. I think reading the kick ass 2 and hit girl graphic novels add to the enjoyment personally.
Past a certain point there's a futility in responsibility.
