I still use my desktop quite a bit (mostly as a media server now), but over the years my habits have changed. For internet browsing, I mostly use the iPad since I think it's fun to use and it's the most convienent when I'm taking care of my 3 year old. I can easily go anywhere with it and still be able to watch him.

As a programmer nothing beats the experience of working in a Desktop.

PCs are very dominant in other parts of the world. As far as I am concerned, I have always been a Windows person. I'm in the process of getting a base model 13-inch Macbook Pro Retina so that I can dual boot Mac OS X Mavericks and Windows 7.
