Exotica - which is on Blu-ray
Dancing At The Blue Iguana - Only on DVD as far as I know.

Both of these movies take place in strip clubs but that's got nothing to do with why I like them. Blue Iguana's dialog is mostly improvised and Exotica is just a really great story. I'm looking forward to going through this thread and finding some great new movies to watch.
Great call on Exotica. Man, I haven't seen that in years, but it's a really good, totally engaging film.

Wolf Children.
It's an anime, but it does have some of the most gorgeous of that style I've seen outside of Miyazaki and his Ghibli.

Mazes and Monsters.

An early role from a relatively unknown Tom Hanks.

Plankton, aka. Creatures from the Abyss

An Italian comedy horror movie, really trippy and with some great nonsensical humour. Alas, only on DVD.

Gomorrha - Matteo Garrone
Totally brilliant film based on Roberto Savianos bestselling book about the Camorra. Especially outstanding is the use of a portable camera and because of this very few cuts.

Pure is excellent. I mean, I know I'm a Keira Super-Fan, but it really is a good movie!

Thought Jennifer Connelly was great in Dark Water.
Dont get knocked by the terrible artwork. Also, mis-marketed as a horror flick, its more psychological stuff than "actual" horror.
Very good though.

The Most Dangerous Game (1932)
Wake of The Red Witch (Good lesser known John Wayne movie)
The Ghostbusters earned their Stripes and to relax decided to go play golf, but got locked in the Caddyshack by the Gopher with The Blues Brothers who are hiding from a Dragnet but luckily they all escaped to The Great Outdoors, where they met a ranger who turned out to be The Man Who Knew Too Little because everything he said was Lost In Translation.

When I saw it in the theatre, most of the crowd was junior high kids who thought it was going to be the next Ring and spent most of the movie laughing at it.

The Butcher Boy

Just watched this on Laserdisc. Great film once I got a handle on the fast Irish accents that everyone had. Good black comedy.
