I've been hoping this would drop. Thanks for the heads up.

Ordered this without any hesitation!! I do not care for older movies but I watched this late one night and couldn't take my eyes off it. Amazing movie. Missed ordering it when it was $13.99 earlier this year. Can't wait to get it!

This movie is one of the greatest camp comedy messes along with Mommie Dearest ever made.

I was amused throughout both.

That makes it worth the very cheap purchase price today.

That may be an apt description of Mommie Dearest but not of Baby Jane. Baby Jane was deliberately tongue-in-cheek so while I agree with "camp comedy" part I object to the "mess" part.

Just received this.

About the cover, I didn't notice that Joan Crawford's left arm is shown. That photo-shopping artwork is poor. For a moment, I thought the muscular arm was that of a man until I noticed the fingernails .

The arm doesn't look like a woman's arm but more like that of a body builder.

Why they didn't just use the excellent dvd artwork is beyond comprehension.

The arm is not a photoshop - it's Joan Crawford's arm, LOL.

It looks like they reversed/maniupulated the image, but that's certainly Joan.

If you have to whip out a microscope to decide if you like a Blu-ray or not, you are missing the point.

In the blu-ray edition of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" (1962), there is a shot missing of Bette Davis walking from her car in the driveway. This is the scene where Joan Crawford has made it downstairs to the phone. She is speaking with the nurse on the other end of the line, pleading to speak with the doctor. The nurse says "Hold on please, I'll see if I can interrupt him", and right after, we are supposed to see the shot of Bette Davis walking away from her car, towards the house. Instead, we instantly see Joan Crawford again, now speaking to the doctor. It's only a second or two, but the missing shot of Bette Davis really hinders the suspense of this scene.

From the video below, is it the 0:47-0:49 piece that's missing from the Blu-ray?

A fan of The Classics and Genre Trash.

Interesting. Nice catch. Perhaps Warner should be notified.
