I am holding off the Hollywood Boulevard to be added to the big cartel store. I hope Necromancy comes back. I had it in my cart ready to go.

I am pretty sure I read that it would be on the cartel in the Scorpion thread.

*Found the post.

Val Lewton,

Request, pop this one in and let us know what you think, I'm on the fence and need to make a decision. I'm kind of inclined to get it just do to Stuart Whitman being in it........because after seeing him kick so much ass in Blazing Magnum

I'll try to get around to it tonight, RT. I asked my girlfriend if she wanted to check it out, and she gave me that look. I'll probably put it on after she goes to bed.

I've seen this a long time ago under an even different name(I think). I don't remember much other than the basic plot line. I'll be glad to give my thoughts after I revisit it...

No, Diabolik has said they already received some.

So the cover in the OP on the first page doesn't exist?

Cover's the same, but uses the alternate title.

Quick Code Red update for everyone. We got in the bulk of our Necromancy, Family Honor and Headhunter discs and we are filling orders now! They aren't orderable right now because we have a bit of a back log and would like to get out the people that preordered before taking new orders. We also have Maniac! and the remaining stock of Police Connection going up this week! Finally we should have orders for Hollywood Blvd and a few other gems soon.
A very smart move, can't fault Bill for listening.

With so many announcements lately, maybe the time isn't quite right for this, but just thought I'd suggest a few (s)exploitation flix from the 70's that have never had a good DVD release, let alone a Blu-ray. If good source material could be found for any of these, I think they would do well due to the cult pedigree each one possesses and the fact none have ever looked that good on home video.

THE AMOROUS ADVENTURES OF DON QUIXOTE AND SANCHO PANZA 1976 – with Sandy Carey, Maria Arnold, Haji, Candy Samples, Patrice Rohmer, Marilyn Brown, Anne Gaybis, Tallie Cochrane, Kathy Hilton, plus Hy Pyke, Patrick Wright

Great cast, and like CINDERELLA and FAIRY TALES, a sex comedy/musical!

CHESTY ANDERSON, U.S. NAVY 1976 – Shari Eubank, Rosanne Katon, Dyanne Thorne, Marilyn Brown, Joyce Mandel, Marcie Barkin, Uschi Digard, Connie Hoffman, plus Fred Willard, Timothy Carey, Scatman Crothers, Frank Campanella, Phil Hoover (Acapulco Gold, Black Gestapo), John Davis Chandler, Gerald Okamura

This one is B-movie gold! Not as much nudity as you would expect, but it's got an amazing cast and is pretty funny.

FEMALE CHAUVINISTS 1976 – Roxanne Brewer, Uschi Digard, Candy Samples, Deborah McGuire, Linda York (hard R/soft X version; not the XXX version with inserts of other people)

The only way you're going to get more busty hi-jinx than this is in a Russ Meyer film! This is the only one of the four to ever see a DVD release, but neither one (from Something Weird or Alpha Blue) are any good. Nor the proper version!

BLOOD SABBATH 1972 – Dyanne Thorne, Terri Johnson, Kathy Hilton, Lynn Harris, Uschi Digard, Jane Tsentas

This one was talked about a short time ago on this thread. The VHS releases of this have always looked atrocious. Hopefully good materials are still around? There's a lot of discussion about this film around the 'net on various B-movie forums. (A Dyanne Thorne interview would be a great supplement!)

BLOOD SABBATH is one of my most wanted titles. It'd be amazing if Bill was able to get this.

I had a blast watching this, I'd easily recommend it too. It's kind of like DIRTY HARRY in the Southwest. Instead of the Scorpio killer, you have Paul Koslo dressing up like an Indian and picking off the towns wealthy people with a crossbow. He won't stop killing unless he gets a ransom of a million dollars. Oliver Reed is like the Inspector Callahan character, except he's a mercenary hired by rich guy Whitman to track and kill the Indian psycho.

It moves at a pretty fast clip and never dragged for me. It has nice location scenery and decent production values. The transfer itself looks great and I'm going through the extras now - the Paul Koslo interview is 44 minutes long!
