I usually don't get my panties all up in a bunch over artwork - but that one for 'Wrinkle' is just lazy.

I personally can't speak to the love/hate for this movie... because I never went to see it (cause it's a kid movie)... but my niece saw it and like it (and she had read the book too). I asked her how she thought it compared to the book, and she told me the book was better. So there you go.

It's as bad as the movie. It's the cover it deserves.

It’s very strange that there is only a 4K listed here on Blu-ray.com. Is there not going to be a separate Blu-ray release?

Bit strange we`ve not had any news of a BD or 4K release of it here in the UK. Only the DVD so far.
TV Setup:
TV - Sony Bravia XD83 4K HDR 43inch
Sound - Samsung K850 Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer
Blu Ray Player - Xbox One X (UHD Playback)

From the ad, looks like maybe not. It says "also available on DVD" with no mention of a stand-alone Blu, and has a just a 4K and DVD upc listed.

Could be an incomplete ad or the Blu could be a retailer exclusive.

"A Wrinkle in Time," from acclaimed director Ava DuVernay, comes home May 29 on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD and Movies Anywhere and June 5 on Blu-ray™, 4K Ultra HD™, DVD and On-Demand. The stunning story of an ordinary girl's extraordinary adventure through time and space offers exhilarating entertainment and positive messages for the whole family-encouraging self-confidence, inclusion and pushing imagination to the next level.

Families who bring home "A Wrinkle in Time" will go behind the scenes to meet the talented crafts persons, actors and filmmakers who brought to life every spectacular detail of this triumphant tale. Bonus material includes an extended featurette providing inside access to the A-list cast and crew; insightful audio commentary from director Ava DuVernay and team; deleted scenes; bloopers; and two music videos, including "I Believe" performed by GRAMMY®-nominated music mogul DJ Khaled and featuring GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Demi Lovato.

More than 50 years after Madeleine L'Engle's young adult novel "A Wrinkle in Time" was awarded the prestigious Newbery Medal, the big-screen retelling of this TIMELESS classic takes audiences on a transformative journey, exquisitely illustrated through jaw-dropping visual effects, a stirring musical score and diverse, star-studded cast. Three celestial guides, Mrs. Which (two-time Academy Award® nominee Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Whatsit (Oscar®, Golden Globe® and Emmy® winner Reese Witherspoon) and Mrs. Who (Emmy nominee Mindy Kaling), come to Earth to share their wisdom and love with struggling eighth-grader Meg Murry (Storm Reid) as she journeys across dimensions with classmate Calvin (Levi Miller) and younger brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe) in search of her father (Chris Pine), a world-renowned physicist who mysteriously disappeared four years ago.

As fantastical as the film's premise and imagery may seem, "A Wrinkle in Time" centers on a universal human need that feels particularly relevant and relatable today. "This is a story about belonging," says DuVernay. "It's about a girl who just doesn't feel strong in her mind, body and spirit. But through this epic journey, she finds her strength and learns that the center of the universe starts inside her. It's about Meg feeling like she belongs in the universe and has a mighty part to play... as do we all."

Bonus features include**:

I think it's more good than bad. It definitely streamlines the novel, but the story is mostly intact. It probably could have been done better, but it was much better than the tv movie and it was absolutely stunning. I'll probably get it.

There is way too many different colors on this cover, looks terrible. Between all of the banners you've got red, black, gold, silver and then the white of the image.

Terrible cover but I'm guessing they weren't aloud to use the superior IMAX or Dolby posters for the home release.

Very surprised they didn't market Chris Pine on the cover.

Anyways, I highly recommend that nobody blind buy this embarrassment of a film. This was terrible in every way.

It's a mess for sure but it's a beautiful mess with good messages for kids.

And the BestBuy Steelbook is nice and has Pine on it.

Review is up: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/A-Wrin...200995/#Review

How this movie got a 3.5/5 score is beyond me. It is hardly coherent and has absolutely terrible acting. These failures fall squarely on the director. Unfortunately, WB has hired the director of this catastrophe for their upcoming huge film: The New Gods. I see their mistakes continue as well. Unfortunate.
Every Blu-ray should have a Play-All option for special features and every player should have 1.5x playback.
Every Blu-ray should come in a Viva Elite case with thick stock artwork and a slipcover. Each disc should have its own hub.
Dark HDR titles exist: Compare Star Trek Beyond 4K to the BD or any other Trek UHD. 10-15% are dark.
