Hi Guys,

Relatively new here, I have the LG 65E6 from January this year and a 55 EA9800 from 2014, both are great sets.

I was wondering have you guys heard if there are new updates coming for the HLG firmware, I think the last update messed with the HDR gaming profile, if this has changed?

The latest official firmware has the HLG updates.

As far as HDR game mode goes, my understanding is that you can turn Dynamic Contrast to ON to fix it.

Paint the "TV stand". All that white is an eye sore when looking at the TV.

It doesn't bother me being white at all, and that's with running full daylight spectrum light bulbs in the living room.

Whole stand looks like it is sagging. I would guess that was the cam lens doing that.

I know the 5.30.02 has the HLG update, but I thought once updating on Gaming HDR mode you had to enable dynamic contrast otherwise the picture got much darker, was this not the case?

Thanks thats why I have been holding on to update, but the alert is so annoying on every start, I'm pretty sure sometime I'm trying to click cancel, I'll click on update. Anyway to undo that?
