Realistically though it's entirely up to you in what you want to do as I really doubt you would be able to hear a difference between the RC52 & RB61/81 match. Plenty of people have run the RC64 with RF82's as well as other combinations with out missing a beat. At the end of the day it's all in what sounds good to you. Try and demo before you buy and always buy from an authorized dealer with a good exchange/return policy to ensure you end up a happy camper.
uhh. i'm confused. Why wouldn't the rc 52 center be the ideal match for rb 51's?If I have each bookshelf speaker 6-7 feet away from the center channel on the same wall, i'm supposed to do 2 rb 51's and 1 rc 42 as my center... ??

I currently use a system where I have rb 81 II and rb 61 II and the center I use is the rc 52! I can't complain!

But in general, if the front 3 speakers have 6 feet or so space between them, should the center have the same rms watts as an individual bookshelf, or have more? I'm assuming more... In this case the bookshelfs have 75 each, the center has 125

Default Rc-25 questio

Rc-52, could anyone tell me the measurements on this. I know the factory specs but cant find anything about measurements without the grill. I just want to know exactly how deep it is withouth thegrill. The spec sheet says 9" but is that with the grill? If so how deep without the grill? I have room for 9" in my space no more. I appreciate the help and thank you.

That should be including the grill.

Thumbs up

Just finished putting my system together! RC-52 center, RF-62 fronts, SB-2 surrounds and SW-112. Love this system! It blows everyone that comes over away! Defiantly glad I went with klipsch over paradigm.

Which Paradigms were you considering? They're a different sound altogether - and Paradigms are good speakers in their own right.

Glad to hear you are happy with your Klipsch! Enjoy...and put some pics up when you can.

Going to be reorganizing my cords and system with my purchase last night of my Denon 3313CI. I am rocking Klipsch RF-82 (2), RC-62, RS-52 (2), RW-10D. Going from 90watts/Channel (2212Ci) to 125watts/channel (3313CI) is going to be my enjoyment for the weekend. I got it hooked up last night but didn't have time to play around with it and calibrate it. It definitely is louder but I am not sold on it's peak power currently at full volume. If I get the cables situated to my likings I will most likely be taking pictures of my setup as well but when it comes to doing that I want everything to be perfect. I have had these reference series for a few years now and they are so amazing with clear sounds while watching movies, music has been good on them as well but compared to some other systems it's not best speakers for music though still good. Now that I have a 7.2 setup I will most likely be looking for another RW-10D or I might get it's big brother RW-12D if I can find one at a good price. It's been awhile since venturing on this site and it feels good to have a full system all hooked up again as my old Onkyo wasn't powering one channel on my surround backs so I was doing without those till I got the 2212CI from my buddy which I just upgrade to the 3313CI which I will report back on my progress with that as well. Klipsch FTW!
DENON AVR-3313CI / Klipsch RF-82 (2), RC-62, RS-52 (2), RW-10D / PS3 Slim / 50" Samsung Plasma TOC Series 650 (50A650) / Monster Power HDP 1800

Exclamation Klipsch KSW10 Sub Shorting Out?

I've had my KSW10 for some time and it's one of my few joys in life. Unfortunately it seems to sporadically stop working. The power is not going off but the light on the front will switch from green to red. If I lightly touch the toggle switch (0-180) on control panel it will work for a minute then stop working. I know little about electronics but I'm guessing it is a short. Can anyone shed light on if this is correct or if they have had a similar issue. I'm trying to determine if I need to replace the sub or if it's a simple repair.

Thanks!
