No, because WB reported the $113M weekend. It's not like this is something coming from my own mind.

Oh I understand but let people who wanna think this made $125 million for the 3 day weekend think that and then I can be proud to let them know it fell like 65% probably next weekend if we go by the $125 million number.

Studios may choose to include midnight showings in weekend totals as it does technically run into Friday, but they can't count any of the Wal-mart screenings because those were all definitely Thursday. When the industry tallies opening weekends--especially when a record might be set--they look at that stuff very closely.

I thinking opening weekend is how much its made by the end of its opening weekend. Plenty of movies come out on Wednesdays and they count whatever is made from Wed.-Sun such as this week's This Is The End.

This Is The End had a $20.5 million opening weekend and grossed an additional $12.3 million over Wednesday and Thursday, making it's current total gross $32.8 million.

at this point I'm just wondering if it can beat out WWZ next week for #1

no way that is doing over 100m opening weekend and they certainly didn't help themselves alienating a lot of book fans

3 million more then they thought. Man of Steel has box office power. I think it will easily hit over 700 million WW. Great Job! Great Marketing too.
