Ooooh

I think that's the one that Bloody Disgusting reviewed when it first came out and called it viciously misogynistic.

And it even got banned in Italy IIRC.

Synapse has got some balls putting it out, that's for sure.

Disney needs to start releasing 3D blu-rays again

Wow, if even Bloody Disgusting found it sexist and offensive it must really be vile. I usually avoid horror movies made after 2000 unless they're weird, arty or intelligent, since splatter tends to be so joyless these days :P The trailer for this is just some garbagey heavy metal that plays while fully nude women get covered with dirt and chased and cry while tied up and guys that look like they should be in Slipknot walk around with whips and axes. No thanks! I only like nudity when deployed for a reason or when "fun," humiliated actresses in the pursuit of trashy splatter movies are no fun. Kinda surprised Synapse is messing with this, looks like something that should come out under one of those trashy modern indie horror labels.

I remember looking into this film a couple of years back after reading about it on the DVD Maniacs forum. I'm pretty sure that's the same trailer I watched back then. I want to say opinions on the forum on the film were not favorable.

Watching it, I kept think of "Burial Ground". Just replace the zombies with Romans...

haha, here's the review in Bloody Disgusting: http://bloody-disgusting.com/reviews...1/morituris-2/

I think it sounds pretty interesting. I'll definitely be looking into it.
