You like those more than the Back to the Future trilogy?

Back to the Future is my favorite film on some level, so I guess I just don't get holding on to three (as you described) guilty pleasures to pass up on a great deal for this amazing trilogy.

I have the UK Collector's Tin and it's one of the gems of my entire collection... and I love the Digipack packaging with holi-foil art too.

The UK discs have slightly lower bit-rates, so I've been thinking about getting the US one, but I have another way of seeing the US discs if I want at the moment, and they might not even be necessarily "better" given the DNR and other video alterations. They might be slightly better but I've not compared.

I personally am hoping we get 4K rescan/remasters released with 4K Blu-ray coming out soon.

Uh, I don't believe anybody said that, did they?

Is anyone aware of a BTTF Trilogy re-release that put all three films on one Blu-Ray disc? My colleague at work purchased this release from Amazon.ca:
http://www.amazon.ca/Back-Future-Anniversary-Trilogy-Blu-ray/dp/B004I1K516/

She says the cover is the same, but the disc lists all three films.

I don't know but the site lists this as 3 discs:

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Back-t...Blu-ray/37886/

If you confirm 1-disc (for three films - 343 minutes ), please submit a correction to the sites listing.

Could be she meant they're all in a single-width case and something got confused. Or she could have bought a bootleg.

NO! The Canadian release is still a three-disc set. The difference is that they are all housed in a 12mm Viva Elite three-disc case instead of the digipack packaging.

I know the transfer isn't top notch, but at this price, is it worth it? This is a steal it seems.

Yes, it's definitely worth it. At $5 a movie, you can't go wrong IMO.

Yes it's definitely worth it at that price.

The transfers are problematic but everything else is top notch.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.
Time to die.

I don't think I said that...but I like them enough to not trade for the trilogy.

I'll eventually pick it up...but I'm just not into trading movies much.
