After looking at all the different Thor figures, I'm going to wait and get the AoU version. The hair doesn't look as greasy and the face sculpt is the best. Plus, it gives me a chance to space out my purchases. I've given up on the Dark Knight trilogy ones I wanted (Batman, Joker, and Bane) due to ridiculously high costs. My next purchases will be Maleficent and Captain America S.T.E.A.L.T.H. suit. And a detolf will be purchased by July's end.

That's what I'm hoping for, but Nice Guy makes a great point.

Yeah, they could make a worse head sculpt then all the more better not to buy it. When I look at the horrible sculpt it reminds me of the Olsen twins. I don't want to waste my money on the Olsen twins.

the thing with Hot Toys is to choose which line you want to collect and don't diversify as you won't be able to space out your pre-orders.

if you want Avengers then avoid the rest...easier said than done.

I was trying to grab ones that would look amazing next to their respective steelbooks, which would be limited to Batman, Joker, Bane, and Maleficent. That's it. The first figure I bought, Tony Stark -- The Mechanic, was a means to earn the double rewards to put towards Maleficent and sell Tony Stark on eBay. But I stupidly found an unboxing video of him and decided to keep it. I don't own any of the Marvel films in steel, so my plan is now to collect Thor and Cap ONLY to complete the trifecta gap that will remain with TDK. I'm not sure if I'll put all my Marvel slips with these three, but they will at least be in some comical poses once I get my detolf. And then I saw Prince Dastan and had to have him. Got him for a decent price, and he is displayed next to my Futureshop ironpack of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I love it.
