10-4 ! Be careful on our beaches. They are beautiful but they can be very dangerous. Yellow flags...unless you are a very good and strong swimmer, stay out of the water. Red flags - stay out of the water period. Purple flags - marine life (jellyfish and or sharks).

Specs are those for the the Cornwall (they are drop in replacements). The "B" is often said to be the forerunner of the "Universal". As you know I was interested in some Cornscala-wall universals, however this deal came up with one of the people in the Klipsch forum about the ALK "B" designed specifically for the Cornwall (Cornwall crossovers carry the B designator in the Klipsch world, as the Heresy carries the E, and the fully horn loaded models..K-Horn and LS carry the A designator).

Here's a picture

just checked out a difference between the stock Cornwall B, the Cornscala-wall, and the ALK B. The ALK B uses steeper crossover slopes than the other two and I'm a real fan of steep slope crossovers (as you know Rpatt - I went ga-ga when you got yours for your Khorns)!

Really interested in your impressions of the benefits of steep slope crossovers. I'm going to have to wait until August to hear mine.

Mine made improvements in the mid and highs!!!!! The bass seemed a little leaner than I preferred, but the fix was very simple! I love crossovers with steep slopes - seems to improve the imaging as well. These are becoming more and more like last speakers each day! They are now my favorite speakers that I have ever owned!

Well, I now belong to the ALK club, and from what I hear, my crossovers are very rare.

Although my Chorus model does not quite fall into the Heritage line, I have installed Bob Crites crossover, and titanium tweeter upgrades.
