Just received and watched The Earth Dies Screaming today (Chosen Survivors will have to wait for the weekend) and really liked it. A simple and compact film that was obviously an influence on many films that followed it.

Kino is really killing it with these little-known cult movies. It seems like every day another one is announced that I feel I need to own.

Way to go Kino!

I realize spargs was asking about Region A, but the Region B release from Explosive is region free.

The reason was legal roadblocks.

We never said that - we said "due to some unforeseen issues the Blu-ray releases of Witchcraft and Fathom are cancelled indefinitely".

My bad. Probably confused it with another title.

Super excited for this release. Amazing cast and super fun. So glad this is coming to disc formats. I had an old VHS of this and not sure what ever happened to it after my last couple moves.

I guess I'll be holding on to my Midnite Movies Double Feature DVD. At least the schlocky cover art fits the content but why oh why does THIS one have be cancelled? Rats and phooey!

Why was WITCHCRAFT cancelled? Maybe there's a curse on it?

I'm really hoping two '80s comedies, GOING APE! and JOY OF SEX will happen.
