Plus... BUMP! We need to get this survey news out there so people can voice their desires for more Rock Band! Spread the word!!!

Since we will have to agree to disagree about the negative z axis, how about a setting for the 3D that will adjust depth & pop-out.

Sure. I'm never against the idea of options.

If they do make a new game and they do make the previous DLC and game content available for said new game, do you think that they'd revisit the licensing for Rock Band Beatles to make the songs compatible with the new software? If so, new instruments being only compatible with the new software would be fine with me. If I can get all of my previous content onto the new game, there would be no need for instruments to be compatible with the old software.

Also... they would need to integrate an "automatic download" feature in the game that can take care of all previous DLC for us. Can you imagine how painful it would be to go back through all of the DLC we've purchased and download everything 1 at a time? That would take hours and would drive me totally !!!

Well, the PS3 can auto download patches, so its possible that the PS4 might auto download DLC. But if not, well, perhaps all that button pressing is worth it.

My understanding is that Paul and Ringo only want characters bearing Beatles likenesses playing their songs. Rather boneheaded in my view but until that changes, integrating the Beatles songs into Rock Band 3-4 can't be done.

This is an awesome idea! Just like on the Guitar Hero games where they would bring in special musicians like Ozzy... why couldn't Rock Band 4 be the same way with their DLC? Depending on the contracts they can write up with the artists - offer their likeness as a playable character or just a special cameo appearance during their songs.

I concur. The artists tend to be a bit too greedy though given how little they now make off of their music/merchandise (in the case of older, more popular, rock musicians).

That is cool that they are putting out more songs. Too bad it hasn't been anything I wanted yet.

Some have been theorizing that the somg titles chosen infer the upcoming release of another Rock Band game. Specifically "Rise Of The Fenix."

I should also add this from the Harmonix website. Players who’ve purchased or downloaded playable tracks on last-generation consoles will be able to download and play those tracks on their new platforms at no additional charge*.

We should just have a MOD redesignate this thread as the "ROCK BAND MEGATHREAD" instead of isolating it for Rock Band 3.

Anyone agree?
