Sad.

Probably won't ever be a focus, but it would be nice to have some native 3D content available for consoles.

For the PS4, my guess would be 720p30fps for high-polygon 3D games and 720p60fps for simple 3D games.

I'm not sure that I will even make the jump to PS4 though since 3D gaming is so limited on the PS3, and there are not yet signs of improvement for the PS4. PC might continue to be the only viable platform.

Unfortunately sounds like sony isn't pushing 3D, but it will be supported. I actually really enjoy 3D in some PS3 titles such as: Motorstorm, Super Star Dust, Killzone 3, MLB the Show, Sonic Generations, Child of Eden, Datura, Ico collection, Uncharted 3, House of the Dead, off the top of my head.

It is awful in COD though, IMO.

I enjoy most of those games too, but I'd like to play games like Mass Effect, Tomb Raider, Dead Space, BioShock, etc. in 3D as well.

Yeah, for sure. It was discouraging that the 3D plans for the new God of War and Bioshock were cancelled. I've got 2D-3D on my TV, but not quite te same. No word about the new PS4 Killzone having 3D support either. I really hope to see 3rd party 3D support on PS4.

I hop it does too. Anyone tried the last Ratchet and Clank game (full frontal) in 3D? Its on sale now and I'm on the fence about buying this one or not, if the 3d is worth it, I might buy it.

For those near a Target needing some 3D gaming goodness, check out their discount section. I just picked up Ratchet & Clank All 4 One for around $6.

Not too bad a price.
