I ordered a bluray from England (MotoGP 2012 Review) and it says on the back of the bluray: "Region Code - 0 All Regions." But when I put the disc in my Pioneer Elite bdp-23FD player it says it's a "B Region" disc on the tv screen and it won't play.
http://www.dukevideo.com/prd1776/Mot...Review-Blu-ray Is there anything I can do to watch the disc on my bd player? |

For your player, unfortunately, you would need something like this ...
http://www.jvbdigital.nl/jvb.asp?cur...tle&title=1042 This site supports newer Pioneer players ... http://www.rattlebyte.com/Shop.php?lang=en&cat_id=1 |

You need to remember that if a blueray player says its region free doesn't always mean its region free. If you go to 220-electronics to buy a region free blueray player it clearly states that it is region free but that they modified it to their specifications.

Does the Bluray disc itself have any code designations -- the A-B-C hexagons with 1 letter or all 3 codes? The designation "Region Code - 0 All Regions" sounds like a DVD scheme and I've never seen a Bluray use that terminology. It's possible that the DVD is/was all region (probably still PAL though) and they just ported the artwork over the the Bluray art. Where did the information that the disc was Region Free come from. |

yeah, talk to the seller. I have some region free blurays from Britian and they play no problem so it might have been mislabeld as region free or the seller may be trying to pull a fast one.

I ordered the bluray from Grand Prix Legends:
http://www.grandprixlegends.com/book...12-bluray.html Is there any way to get the disc to play on my bd player? Any code I can type into the bd player in the settings? |

I just emailed the distributor to let them know that the back of the bd box said "0 All Regions" but when I tried to play the disc it says: "B Region". I'll have to wait for the response. Their customer service has been great. I ordered it back in December and they told me they didn't have the product I was ordering in at that time and wouldn't charge me till it's shipped and sent me around 3 to 4 emails keeping me up to date of the process. |
