....Except the NA version just put in the 3D version only. The UK version has both 3D and 2D....and it's still less costly.

But is the UK 3D version region-locked?

Having a region-free Seiki is one thing, but having a region-free 3D BD player is something else.

Besides, I don't find the 2D BD useful at all if I already have the 3D one.

I think a DVD would be more useful than a 2D BD if I already have the 3D BD.

It is Disney, everything they have released for the past 5 years is region free (minus re-releases of past discs) so it is extremely likely this will be also.

Amazon.co.uk has Season 1 of Defiance for £21.50. That works out to ~$33 CAD shipped. It isn't even up for pre-order on .com or .ca yet.

They also have Fringe: The Complete Series for £47.28 which is ~$66 CAD shipped. That's pretty good for all 5 seasons.

I was going to hold off on Fringe but it was such a fun show and this is a great price. Sold! I'll probably wait a while to re-watch it though.

Ugh, one of my shipments in my last order went missing. Amazon was great, sent out a new one with expedited shipping. Bad news it came via UPS, got hit with $21 brokerage fee for four SteelBooks, so an additional $5 per. Still have a single one coming, hopefully I don't get dinged on that one.
