This has got to be the most overrated, awful, boring classic i've ever seen - and i love old classics.

Yeah, I don't get. I'm actually pissed off at myself for not liking it. Watching this movie was like being punk'd. I'm usually quite impressed with most old films between 1900-1950. But it's only been this one and The Rules of the Game that have had my head scratching of why they are so highly rated. I'm sure there's something to them once analyzed, but as entertainment value, I just don't get it.

good film! bought it for $8 at one of their half off sales a little while back. was not disappointed. looks and feels like the 1940's Hollywood classic it is.

stunning PQ. this and Criterion's Persona have to be the 2 best B & W transfers I've seen.

throw in the 30 minute bonus feature and this was major bang for the buck!

My partner and I just watched my Blu of 'How Green Was My Valley' and we're kinda confused.

What happened to Maureen O'Hara's character's husband?
