G'day guys,
I'm after a multi-region player, but not ready to spend the amount an Oppo is worth just yet. Can anyone recommend a player in the $100-$150 range that will play multi-region? I believe there is a Toshiba & a Sonia around? What models and is it a complicated process to get them working? Edit: 3D playback is a requirement also, if possible in the price range... As far as I know, there are Blu-ray players sold in Australia that enable you to switch between regions when playing Blu rays via accessing the setup. They are around $70-90 and are called Soniq (b100 is the model you would want). I don't know about the 3D, though.
