When I had about 60 3d blu rays in my collection I started the 50+ thread now since my 3d library is now at 108 (flying monsters UK import newest addition) I thought the best thing was to start a new thread for the completely addicted 3d enthusiasts!
If anything I hope it makes people realize just how much is out there! Conversions or native there are alot of great 3d! Quick question for those who have alot, do you display your 3d movies in a separate category or mix them with all of your blus? I doubt that there are 100 native 3ds as of right now but soon will be so with the poll just answer even if you only have a few titles! Last edited by Clinton3779; 12-03-2012 at 05:34 PM. |

100+ Blu Ray 3D movies is impressive. Also worth keeping in mind, "It's not how many, but the quality of the ones you have, that really counts."
But I see your point about the wider selection of 3D movies since the early days when all we had to pick from was a few feature films and Imax 3D. Back then, if it wasn't for Imax, we wouldn't even have much of a library to pick from, thanks Imax 3D. They were the early leaders of supplying fans with 3D blu rays. I only have just over 50 3D blu Rays, but have to be careful I try to get ones I think I'd watch more than once, but sometimes it's tough to pass up a great deal for the ones I've never seen before. Keep up the collection! |

Yeah, the German Blu Ray 3D's with reported weak 3D, really need to set a higher standard for the 3D presentations they're offering IMO.
Of the nearly 110+ you have collected, would you say it's safe to say you would keep 90% of them if someone said you had to choose the top movies? Of my 50+, I have a few in there I'd be willing to leave behind, but mostly because of the weaker 3D. |

If I had to get rid of some of mine, I would probably drop Yogi Bear 3D, which has decent 3D, but not nearly as strong as the behind the scenes on the same disc, which makes the movie's 3D pale in comparison. But the bigger reason would be the movie, which I honestly have to watch another time to be fair. Only saw it one time. Tekken Hybrid 3D's Blood Vengeance 3D I'd get rid of also, the 3D is decent, but finally gets really good near the ending. The theme of the story is tough to get into IMO. Hubble 3D, despite some amazing live action 3D shots here and there, also has a good amount of disappointing outer space 3D. I was disappointed. But Yogi I'll give another play through, along with the others one of these years. |

Just hit 37. I'll be over 50 in a couple months if the Dreamworks 3D titles would ever drop in price.
